Matt Ingrams Counselling -
Matt Ingrams. Counselling for grief, abuse, careers, anxiety, trauma, PTSD. East Sussex

My original training was as an integrative counsellor but I have also trained in Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).

I use IFS with the majority of my clients because it is a profound and effective model.

Most of my clients come to see me but I also have clients I work with on Skype and over the phone.

I have developed a number of trainings and workshops over the years on issues such as self esteem, trauma, helping carers, forgiveness and self acceptance

I developed my own model which I delivered through trainings and one to one sessions and small groups. After doing this for a few years I decided to use this model as only a part of my practice, as I realised that one size never fits all.

I also supervise counsellors in private practice.

Hours:
Tues - Fri: 9am - 8pm

I see individuals and couples between the hours of 9am and 8pm Tuesday to Friday.

Over many years of working with people from all backgrounds presenting a huge variety of issues I realised that the nervous system's reaction to trauma, even so called soft trauma, is often at the heart of many problems, including anger management, depression, anxiety, phobias and some personality disorders.

I can help you manage, overcome and heal the symptoms of any traumas safely and profoundly.

In  couples therapy I can help you understand, change and heal destructive patterns of communication so that you can regain a safe and loving platform from which to rebuild and enhance your relationship.

I trained for the cert in counselling and therapy at the CCPE in London.
I have a diploma in counselling and a diploma in supervision from Wealden Psychology Institute, a highly respected and BACP accredited organisation, and a cert in trauma counselling and therapy.
I have trained in Brainspotting levels one and two. I am fully trained in IFS ( levels 1 to 3).

I  am an accredited member of the BACP. I adhere to the BACP code of ethics.

I am deeply committed to helping my clients get what they want.

Matt Ingrams is on the list of counsellors and therapists accredited by Department of Health and approved by the PSA for Health and Social Care
